B Corp certification is a global initiative which endorses those companies that successfully strike a balance between profitability and making a positive impact on people, communities and the planet.
We are delighted to receive this certification, which reinforces a business model deeply rooted in our work culture and our founding purpose: we have carefully revived and looked after a historic territory, at the heart of the Duero valley, so it can be passed on to future generations in better conditions. This requires an ethical, responsible and mindful approach to business.
Our overarching purpose can be seen in projects such as the restoration of the estate’s original woodland; the reduction in our water footprint; the improvement in our local ecosystem and biodiversity; the creation of spaces for solar energy; and a firm commitment to social and local development.
